Organic Valley, a co-op producing quality certified organic food products including dairy, meat, eggs and produce, has asked the Negotiation Training Institute to provide Win-Win Negotiations Training for their procurement team. Organic Valley was seeking a training partner with comprehensive content cover everything from negotiation basics to creating and maintaining relationships with vendors, with an emphasis on persistence and follow-through. NTI was able to customize their Win-Win Negotiations program to meet the needs of the purchasing team.

A Negotiation Training Institute Senior Level Instructor and Win-Win Negotiations expert will meet with Organic Valley procurement team members in Wisconsin to deliver the training. Participants in this intensive workshop will learn the essentials of purchasing negotiations and the relative importance of price, value, and quality. They will learn techniques for recognizing and neutralizing negotiation tactics, de-escalating conflict, and how to identify and apply concession strategies. Attendees will learn to understand the difference between Positional and Principled Negotiation, and why it is important to work toward win-win solutions to create and preserve long-term relationships with vendors.
